The river before we got in

6:30AM - early to rise

7:30AM - down to the buffet for a light breakfast and a quick lay down on the beach, see if we can't catch a few extra rays before our 2 hour journey to the river which is in Falmouth, Mo bay.

Once we had finally reached the River we were immediatly met by our guide for the morning his name was Lloyd, as he pushed the bamboo raft down the river slowly he also explained to us many interesting fact about Jamaica and the plants and foods within this beautiful country.

One thing he showed us was a green plant that they call the shy Flower because when you touch the leaf it closes inwards as if turning away or curling up in to a ball Lloyd also told us that back in the olden days they would use this plant to catch runaway slaves, they would follow the trail of closed up leaves.

Flowing a few more feet down the river we stopped at a little place where the water was low and the current was weak and we were sitting pon de river bank, there were hundreds of stones beneath us we couldnt resist a sing song ''sitting on the dock of the bay ...wasting tiiiiiiiime'' Lloyd then asked us to take off our flip flops as he had a suprise for us while contemplating what it could be and ademant that we were not getting in to the river Lloyd was covering our feet in a white natural moisture scrub....... what a suprise it was !!!

I giggled a little as he massaged my feet but my mum was loving the relaxation she thought she was back home at the spa for a day ... i then joined her and sat back to indulge and enjoy this peacefull and relaxing experience we were sitting on a bamboo raft in the middle of a river, sun blazing down on our shoulders sat back enjoying a foot massage what more could we ask for this was pure bliss !!!!!!

Flowing a few more feet down the river we bumped in to a floating river bar  the bartender went by the name of John .

Lloyd took this :)
.. so we bought ourselves and Lloyd a drink and sat chatting to john and Lloyd for 15 minutes about reggae artists and bands  .... Ahoy!! more sing songs  ... john holt, duane stephenson, buju banton and barrington levy were among our conversation that morning :)

Once back at the resort we had about an hour on the beach before the rain started again ...so back to the room to wait for it to stop and then a little internet time while we werent doing much after half hour (which was 9 dollars US) on the internet we decided to go back to the room and shower before dinner.

ohh and cant forget the sunset which we got to see again from our balcony  it was so pretty as the water was sparkling away !!!!!

8:30PM - dinner time

9:30PM - entertainment team put on a show every night so we sat at the bar for a bit and watched :)
