Mi Maestra Lilian!
I took 3 weeks of Spanish classes in Antigua at Tecun Uman. It is a great school, but as you know, it is the teachers that make all the difference. And Lilian is the perfect example of such a teacher.
I learned so much from her, and she has helped me to feel confident about speaking in Spanish...she also helped me to understand her Country, and because of her I looked forward to going to class. In some ways Antigua is a hard place to practice Spanish since there are so many tourists, but every time I go back (again last year and this upcoming December), I make a point to stay in Antigua to take classes with her.
There are certain peopple you meet in life who have such an impact on you, whether you know them for years, days or hours. And Lilian is someone I can say has had a great impact on my life and what I want to get out of it..her outlook is so positive, and you can tell she actually loves teaching.
