I just love zoos! There I can see animals that I wouldn't see in nature. And too some animals which I can see in nature, but animals like reindeers look better there than when they are running infront of moving car.

I have been to all Finnish zoos (as far as I know) and it was nice to go see another country's zoo. I think Kolmården Zoo was way better than Finnish zoos. I saw there some animals which I haven't see even in pictures before! Unfortunately the day wasn't the best and in some point was even raining. But 'cause we had come all the way there we took everything out of that place. :)

There were all these animals which live in Finnish forests, like bears, lynxs, reindeers, etc. Nothing new to me in those animals, but there were also animals which lives in Swedish forests and some of them were new to me, I don't even know all of their names! Some farm-animals (goats, hens, mini pigs, etc.

) were all in one enclosure and people could actually go in there and play with animals. Mini pigs were so cute when they run away from people and one goat come to me and wanted me to scratch it!

When I entered to tiger world I walked under arc and really got scared of voice which heard from big speakers. Tiger roar welcomes people in that part of park and I really thought that there was tiger behind me. :) Tigers were cute, particularly puppies. In one point other of the parents (tigers) looked straight at me! Maybe it was because I tooked lots of picture of them and he/she wasn't in a mood for photographs. After tiger world next thing was dolphinarium (do I write it correctly?). My dad had been there before about 20 years ago and said that back then the show was amazing.

ENZO!
Well when we went to watch it, it wasn't actually so good. After I have seen couple of dolphin-shows in one Finnish dolphinarium this was a bit boring. My dad said that 20 years ago it was on the contrary. Well it is always nice to see dolphins so I wasn't so dissapointed.

The animal which I was waiting for most to see was Enzo, young gorilla. We had a joke that he is my lost twin brother. :) Well, Enzo was really, REALLY cute, but unfortunately I didn't get good pictures of it (he and other gorillas were in hole and behind the glass). The animals which my friend was waiting for most to see were meerkats. She just loves them and we almost didn't get her off from them.

The last animals which we saw inside the park were zebras. They were sleeping and I didn't before know that they sleep standing! Hard to believe that they were actually sleeping, but I think they really were.

Giraffe which almost kicked our car!
.. At this point we noticed that we haven't go to see penguins, but we were a bit tired from walking so we decided not to go back to see them. (Next time I definately will go see them!) After all the walking it was nice to go back to car and drive to the safari-park.

It was really exotic to me that you could actually go and drive through a park where animals are. In this part of park there were some animals which I had already seen in nature (mooses) and some animals which I definately hadn't seen in nature (lions). One giraffe was really cross and almost kicked our car! That was a bit scary.

This zoo was really amazing place to visit and I'm looking forward to go there again!
