Ireland Wedding Trip 2005

Adare Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

I was tagging along for my girlfriend's sister's wedding. Such an odd sight...35 pale Irish Americans and little old me. The sole tan asian in the group, who happens to have a German last name. The place was AMAZING!!!!!!! Talk about falling in love with a place...I didn't want to come back.

Finally re-writing and finishing the Ireland blog.

Sorry folks. Some of you might have remember me starting this blog when I first started with Travbuddy. So now that I finally have access to the internet again...I figure instead of being productive and finding a real job, I might as well finally finish this blog.

Those of you who have traveled "across the pond" know the flight really isn't that bad. In the air less then ten hours and then you're on the European continent and in Ireland. The only bad thing about the flight is the TSA and U.S. Customs on this end. In a word they both suck. For some reason I am ALWAYS pulled out of line and questioned. I guess its just my cosmopolitian looks :-) Out a group of 35 people, I get pulled aside...go figure. And Detroit customs was the rudest bunch of people I have ever had the misfortune of running into. Well on to the trip.
