Gullfoss

Gullfoss is a beautiful waterfall. When I went to Iceland I didn't realise a) how many waterfalls they had, and b) how large a part they would play in our trip. Gullfoss remained one of my favorites because of its beauty, and the fact we were so lucky with the weather. It was a gorgeous day, and sitting watching the power of the fall was incredibly pleasant and made up for the disappointment of not having enough time at Kerið.

The only slight problem was we got to see the power, majesty and scenery three times - once on the Golden Circle, and twice more on the bus journeys north. Oh well.
