My first meetup
I was a bit dissappointed when I saw the weather when I got up, but luckily it got better during the day. A bit nervous for my first meetup I got ready to catch my bus and train. Both left in time and I arrived in Tilburg just before half past 9 (the time I was meeting some of the others). I didn't see anyone yet so I had time to get some money from the ATM. When turned around to start looking for other people I saw two persons walking in my direction that looked familiar :) Soon some more TB's started showing up and also the meetup hostess Devika. She left with Guido and Jorien by car and the rest of just fitted in the bus to the Efteling that was a bit crowded.
At the entrance we waited until everyone arrived and (a bit later as planned) we entered the Efteling.
In the morning we walked around in two groups. The group I walked around with started with the newest attraction de Vliegende Hollander. After that we went to the Python were we saw the other group too, just behind us. It became a morning full of rollercoaster rides because our next stop wat the Pegasus, this is a wooden rollercoaster. We wanted to go in the Fata Morgana as last attraction before luch but unfortunately the attraction was closed because of a failure. Instead we made a stop at the Spookslot on our way to the place were we would meet everyone for lunch. When we arrived at the lunchplace we didn't see any of the others although we knew they should already be there. Very fast we found out that we weren't at the right place, and when we arrived there we did see the others :)After lunch we decided to start easy because of the full stomach and we went with the whole group to the Droomvlucht.
Next stop was Villa Volta, it was very funny to see the faces of the people who had never been in there. The next attraction is one that has a song you can't get out of your head, a day later I still have it in my head :D We had a lot of fun singing the song and making a lot of pictures. Since lunch had been a while ago we could do another rollercoaster: Vogel Rok, this one is completely in the dark. Since the waiting time was very short (less than 5 min) a few of us decided to go for another ride. When we came out we didn't see the others anymore so we decided to go for another ride :) When we came out we found out the other had been sitting on a terrace and they had seen us come out and go in again. They even say they called for us but we never heard them. On our way to the Pandadroom we enjoyed the view over the park from the Pagode. In the Pandadroom we could lay our feet to rest while we saw the very nice 3D movie. They say time is flying when you're having fun and this was defenitly true for this meetup because it was already time for our last attraction since closing time was coming close very fast. We decided to go in the Pirana, we were just in time it closed just behind us. After some people looking strange at us since we were dancing while standing in line, most of us were lucky and didn't get wet at all, but a few off us did get some water over them. After a group picture it was time to go the exit. We made a short stop at the Sprookjesbos so Brett could see Langnek. At the exit we had to say goodbye to Jorien and Guido. The others got into a car and we drove back to Tilburg.|

The park started out as a playground, later the Sprookjesbos (Fairy tale forest) was added, here you can see a lot of different fairy tales (desigened by Anton Pieck). And now it has turned into a theme park where all ages can have a great day.
In the dutch summer holidays the park has special opening times on saturdays, until midnight, and there is live music. In the winter they are open in weekends, but not all rides are open then.
We were (un)lucky since the weather wasn't very good in the morning, but this also meant it wasn't very crowded so we could visit a lot of atractions.
