2 hours in Versailles

Versailles Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

My first trip outside of the USA (for 3 weeks!) ~ we got to see England, Scotland, France, and Spain. Oh, and saw a few TBs along the way, also.

2 hours in Versailles

Yes, that's right, we were challenged with seeing as much of Versailles as possible in a fraction of a day.  We basically only had enough time to walk around the grounds of the palace and go for a little boat ride on the lake behind the palace.  I really wish we'd had time to actually tour the inside, so hopefully I'll make it back one day to erase that regret.  It was a warm and sunny day out, the gardens were vibrant and meticulous, and it was an all-around good day for a walk outside.  I couldn't believe how extensive the palace was ~ I can only imagine what the inside must look like!!

I've been there almost 10 years ago...it's amazing! I love the gardens a lot! I have to say, you really need almost a whole day to tour around it.
