Climbing the Old Man of Storr was a really coll thing to do. It was something the whole group did together and was the type of achievement which really bonded everyone. It was a gentle climb up through forest before the terrain opened out and leading finally to a short scramble at the top. We stopped for a group photo and then headed back down. Once at the bottom we had lunch before continuing out tour of Skye northwards.
Our next stop was at Kilt Rock, a cliff formation on the northern coast of the island which took the appearance of a Scottish kilt. From there we headed round to the Macurdies Exhibition. A one room building housed the collection of Macurdies work. He was constantly looking to explore weird and crazy ideas about his surroundings. Throughout the day we were very lucky with the weather, we stayed pretty much one step ahead of the rain.
Once back in Kyleakin, we headed straight out for food at the 'Kings of Kyleakin' bar. Being the last night, everyone joined us and we even had a live band in the bar that evening who were pretty good.
