This is my first travel blog so it's a bit of a test, but due to a job change, it's probably my last company paid trip abroad. Anyway, I wanted to test this whole travel blog thing before my fall vacation in Greece.

Should be packing

June 27, 2008
I leave for Milan, the first stop of my two week trip, tomorrow.  I should be packing but so far all I've really gotten accomoplished today is mowing the lawn and doing a couple of loads of laundry.  I did email one of my Italian co-workers to say that I was looking forward to seeing them again and met with the guy who's house-sitting for me to hand off a key and garage door opener, but that's been about the extent of getting ready for the trip.  Tomorrow will be all day on planes.  The route is: Huntsville - Atlanta - Paris - Milan; arriving mid morning on Sunday.
