ben, alex and me slept in the hut last night - i didnt had sleeping bags with me - but thank god! i found some old carpets, bedsheets and old rags for my bed and a towel for my blanket - but it was so fucking cold! i could not sleep i dont have any warmn clothes with me, ben talks in his sleep, alex snores and bola and perla were fucking barking the whole time. hahahah hahahahaha BUT I LOVE IT! :D
so as i was finally getting into sleep - pablo kicked my ass in the morning!!!! whatta?! and he said his mother is waiting for us to have breakfast together in the house - arrrggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh i still feel sleepy.
when we got out of the chavola - the weather was so warm and beautiful!!!! blue and almost cloudless skies above us - and behold the magical and breathtaking view of the sea and cedeira in front of us!!!!! with all the blooming summer flowers - rhododendrons, margaritas, yellowbells and gladiolas and smell of citruses from the trees - i mean it can take your headache and sleepiness away! not stressful in the eyes - nature was healing me.
the light from the sun was perfect in taking pics of the old town of cedeira were the family lives - so while going down from the hut - i took pictures along the way - it was so quiet - and people were so nice to greet if you come across them.
at the dining table - señora lucia was so busy asking us what do we want to eat or if we want cafe con leche or only cafe hahahahaha it was so sweet and nice of her! she told us not to wash dishes and basically just do what do we want in the house - mi casa es su casa - my house is your house - she would make you feel comfortable and serve you till her last energy - which reminds me of my mother back home, i understand though - because pablo and me were the only childs of our parents.
señor manolo then offered us a liquor - it was homemade - i dont know the other one - the white one but the other one was cherries (i suppose? help me guys) and sugar. the family makes them their own. it reminds me of my grandma's place in the province in the philippines - the smell of the kitchen, the 1 gallon bottles, the tuba (liquor from coconut) its just everything - i feel like im not in another country!
then pablo asked me what do we want to do after breakfast - because in the afternoon he has a suprise for us :D ut i already know what it was - i just didnt told the guys completely :D
i said we wanted to see more of the cliffs and los molinos (the windmills) - so we got our stuff - but the weather was not friendly at the moment.
