were off to a brand new start and getting to know the real portugal.

we woke up at about 7 am in the morning! the car was parked beside a mansion with peacocks howling at night! hahahah hahaha.

i was the last to wake up, and im sooo annoyed with ben that he's been so noisy! hopping around and around hahahaha, it was so bloody cold in the morning. im so lazy to go out and brush my teeth. but eventually i did, i gargled the water at the backyard of the mansion. hahaha.

and i remembered we have a pizza leftover from last night, the hawaiian from ben ^_^ we put it somewhere outside, so it wont stale, when i opened it, coz im damn hungry, it looked well, i dont know! hahahah i threw it!

so we decided to grab some tings at the mall and freshen ourselves up, ben drove down from the small mountain to the center of the city and ben parked the car in front of the central station, because the mall is just directly beside it. there were some signs but its in portuguese but i cant read it. it maybe closer to spanish but another different language - its like comparing mango to banana both pulpy and creamy but tastes differently. i dont know if we have to pay for the parking space or not! so we just took the chances and parked the car there.

unfortunately the mall opens at 10 am and were there at 8:30 am - so we drove back to the park where we first parked yesterday. hahaha i was so amazed by the girls, they couldnt care less! they just basically plopped themselves on the sidewalks, put the sleeping bags as mats and ate! we had had our breakfast of orange juice and some bread we brought from the supermarket of cedeira in spain. after hanging for a good hour - we walked to the beach across it and looked for some facilities to shower etc. - well there WAS a shower but a shower after bathing in the beach! hahahaha theres nothing much to see and everything was closed and too chilly and windy. we just killed our time.

after some agony, we finally drove back again to the mall - it was opened when we were there - we all headed straight to the toilet! hahahahahahaha. i brushed my teeth - AGAIN and washed my hair. alex and  ben borrowed my dental floss and i just rolled my eyes hahaha. while ben was waiting for me, he was playing with the hot-air dryer with his hair and we were amazed by the damn tiles in the toilet! hahahahah ben and me looked so third world gawking at the tiles! hahahaha

as we were walking inside the mall,  i was already contemplating of buying a new camera - but i thought - i dont need night shots anyway - it will be just a waste of money.

we went to the fastfood - lori and hannah brought some freshly made sandwiches, ben - i dont exaclty remember what he bourght, so alexme and rubs bought some stuff from mcdonalds - there were basically 4 people in there and it took our orders about 10,000 years! oh my god! i never saw people so slow working even the supervisor inside was as slow as a turtle! they couldnt speak in english and LET ALONE spanish so its hard to clear everything! arrrghhhhhhhhhhh.  the grumpy lady in the counter gave us the record breaking biggest mcdonalds bag i had ever seen in my entire life! when we got our orders - hannah, lori and ben were waiting impatiently for us in the terrace of the mall and were already eating, it was the most amazing view of all! we didnt saw it last night because it was already dark! portugal is slowly making its way to me and us, little i know about this country and i am so excited for new discoveries!

when we were back to the parking lot - we decided to head south of porto, because some camping sites in a small town called ovar - to spend the day and night.

i was worried about ben... because he lacked a good and comfortable sleep - that he might be tired from driving but he said he was ok.
