la boca de cielo or the mouth of heaven.
i was in a bad mood. i just kept quiet the whole time. when we finally got to the beach for a split second it didn’t even appalled to me as my eyes were falling and my heart sinking. i ate some lemon bread, smoked ganja and listened to music. i was watching rubs, lori, hannah, robbo, ben and pablo from the distant playing in the atlantic ocean. so i asked myself, am i gonna ruin my whole trip for my fault not being able to sleep and my camera went broke and mope all the time?? or i would enjoy the glorious weather, the warm water of the atlantic ocean, my friends having the time of lives, so no more stupid questions i ran into the water! and it was so fucking cold! hahahahahahhhahha i chilled for a bit but after jumping up and down- it made my body warm! it was amzing! robbo, rubs and me played with the waves! and lori too! were jumping up and down and then swam like dolphins as BIG WAVES came to us! TIDE SURFING! i had fun! but it was too much for me since my body really need some slack.
when i got back from our place in the beach, i rolled open my towel and fell into sleep in the sun. i didn’t knew how long i did slept but hen i woke up, 2 friends of pablo where already there! they went playing football, pablo, santi, antonio (?), another guy, ben and robbo. i borrowed rubs cam and inserted my sd card. i want to take pics of the beautiful, tourist-less beach of playa do baleo!
while they were playing, rubs and lori were sleeping and the sun, but hannah was awake, it was time for me to talk to hannah as we didnt get much time to talk in the trip. we talked about hannah being a vegetarian and how cedeira and the places we were in spain reminded her or being similar to some places in australia. it was a fun talk, as i got to know hannah better.
when the guys were finished with their sport, the spanish guys rested for a bit and me and ben clowned around playing wrestling in the sand. i never felt old with these bunch of guys i am with, i kept reminding myself that i have a border with them, but in fact, i am a child at heart and being that, i could never get away from it.
when it was time to go i felt sad really sad this will be the last i would see cedeira and its beautiful, picturesque, amazing, fantastic, marvelous, heavenly views, cliffs and beaches.
when we got back to town, so i decided to buy a camera, ben came with me. it was the only camera store in cedeira i went in and the woman could not converse in english so we communicated in spanish i bought a cheap camera well not really cheap as it was 155 euros.
in the kitchen, we cooked the pasta and ola! adrian the boy from madrid was there! he asked us how our trip went ben was trying to converse with him too so we four ben, me, adrian and señora lucia were talking and having fun in the kitchen. señor manolo came and asked me how i am hehehehe and i said i slept on the beach so i am basically fine. i let adrian play with my mobile since i have spiderman and tom and jerry games on it. hahahahahahahaa. yes i am still a child too. hehehehehe.
in the night, we went back to the internet café, checked our mails and also to o mastil bar, pablo went home early because he was so tired too.
i felt sad….. because we are leaving tomorrow. we are leaving the most beautiful place weve been in our trip, the only mistake we had was that we looked for beautiful and secluded beaches in portugal but all the time it was near to us….

in the beaches of the philippines, greece and portugal - the good beaches have standards, one must flaunt their good bodies, money, expensive swimwears and pretentiousness or worse, a pay beach with crappy facilities.
i am not into it and thank god, my prayers were answered! as cedeira is a hippie and bohemian litle town, people couldn't care less. there is a beach located in a small town in the municipality of cedeira, in pantin. the name of the beach is called "playa do baleo".
as the area of cedeira is full of coves and little beaches and there are less population in galicia and most of all virtually no tourists, you can choose from its hundreds of beaches and you can still celebrate your privacy.
since this area of galicia, well notably spain is hippie and bohemian, nobody cares of how you look like, people dont go here to flaunt things but to enjoy the warm sun and aquamarine water, you can wear rags or better not wear anything at all. typical no nonsense attitude as what i call this a no-nonsense beach. and most of all FREE OF CHARGE and better than beaches that you have to pay but fight your way to find a space to get settled down.
playa do baleo is a big cove surrounded by two big hills with a big wide opening in the middle where the waves of the atlantik ocean gently and in winter wildly pushes itself to the shores. at the end of the shores are full of mini coves and sharp - VERY SHARP rocks, but nevertheless the beach is still wide.
there are no shops here, you have to bring your own necessities to accomodate and entertain yourself. as usual, we went with two cars, it's a bit of long walk from the town of cedeira to pantin. it took us 20 minutes of driving through hills and mountains full of eucalyptus trees to reach playa do baleo. and i think it would take 1-2 hours of walking. but if so, the excruciating pain of walking and agony will be rewarded as the beach itself is the mouth of heaven. THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FOR FREE. because the beach is free!
