el pueblo de los hippies y bohemians! bring it on cedeira!

while señor manolo drove us from ferrol to cedeira - we passed hills, valleys, mountains with  magnificent views of the atlantik ocean - the three of us inside the car - ben, lori and me were just - speechless - mouths wide open - it was the most beautiful view weve ever seen in our whole life!

cedeira is a small fishing town - its not well known to tourists because of its remote location and inaccesibility to public transportation and i am glad - really glad that pablo invited me to his small town to spend a couple of days. the small city/town is divided by a river and the old town of cedeira is just at the delta of the river - the river dries up at low tide and it just magically fills up again at high tide.

cedeira is full of young people - bohemians and hippies! hahahahaha lots of bars with alternative, punk and rock music everywhere - when i say everywhere its just EVERYWHERE! hahahahaha

it has a promenade along the it's main beach called playa magdalena - the promenade runs all the way down to the fish factory where most of the young men in the town works.

cedeira is such a FUCKING LAID BACK OLD TOWN that you can relax just by doing nothing! you just have to be there so that i could give justice to what i am writing.

when we got to the house - the grandal-caneiro house is such. ... IT RIVALS THE HOUSES IN THE FRENCH RIVIERA - its so fucking beautiful! an old house build i think in the 18th century with wooded floors that squeaks and a beautiful facade.

we had separate rooms for the girls and boys - and each has their own house key and pablo introduced us to the family cat - lola which was very shy and aloof.

when we got settled - we went to the grocery and bought our food - i let the "children" bought foods hahaha hahaha while me and pablo talked for a while inside the supermarket. the girls decided to cook pasta and cheese with vegetables since hannah is a vegetarian. rubs gave me some noodles which she promised to me and i ate it - i was so hungry i couldnt wait for the pasta anymore! when i finished the noodles soup, i ate the pasta hannah and lori cooked which was so delicious!!! well - rubs and alex just sat their doing nothing but alex the one who's pointing fingers like a boss ordering this and that! hahahahah hahahahahaha.

then at the middle of the dinner came pablo's mother - señora lucia - a graceful old woman, an old soul but with commanding power - shes the voice inside the house, shes the head and whatever she says is the final say. we got along very well because she lived in holland in the civil war and knows how to speak dutch and german and more importantly spanish  with  clear fluidity so i an understand her - were talking mostly in mixed spanish and german.

after our dinner - it was still daylight at 7 pm - so the girls decided to go to the beach and pablo took us to one - all of us got into our each clothes and when we all touched the water we all turned back except for pablo hahahaha - it was so fucking cold! hahahaha alex lifted rubs and threw her into the water! hahahahah hahahaha such an asshole! hahahaha.

then we walked along the hiking path up to the hill whre the shack was - we gonna spend most of or time there - it has no electricity, with a fireplace, beautiful flower gardens and vegetable garden with two cute dogs! perla and bola! :D so the guys decided to sleep there in the night while the girls will sleep in the soft bed hahahaha.

pablo led us to a small hiking path - i forgot my fucking stupid camera so i dont have any pics - there was a small altar monument at the edge of the cliffs - a dedication to a girl who died because she fell on the cliffs. there was a moment of silence between us. the cliffs where awesomely breathtakingly beautiful but at the same time treacherous.

when we got back to the house - we decided to go to saloon universal - pablos favorite place to hang out - there are pool tables, kickerboad, internet, darts and bars with some foods and stuff.

the place was huge and awesome and western inspired facade! hahahaha hahaha haha its - i dont know how to say it - its looks out of place located in the small sleepy town of cedeira but at the same time it gives character.

we played billards - i defeated pablo 3-1 he was not really happy about it. hahahaha hahahah hahaha hahahha haha, after that pablo and me smoked outside just across a childrens playground! whattafuck?! hahahahahah he was like a child jumping all over the fields and hiding in the bushes and shouting "lauro can you see me?" hahahaha hahahah hahaha

before midnight we decided to call it a night - as all of us were so tired - so me and alex and ben packed some stuf to take to the shack which is just 5 minutes walking from the house and slept there!
