Strangely quiet place

We stopped here to have some food and coffee. Apart from the stunning landscape and beautiful castle, which we didn't have the time to look at, this place was a bit spooky. Apparently its an important industrial town that has quite a number of inhabitants and even a piece of University, but I didn't see ANYONE when driving in and only few people at the Stadtcafe. They did have really good pancakes though. Hmm... still... not even dogs barked. Maybe because it was 11 a.m. on a Sunday and sort of windy and rainy-looking. There is a rational reason for everything...
