Mozart by the Mozarteum Orchestra
August 29, 2008
So this was yet another free ticket I got, because a friend of mine has "connections". I basically get this free tickets, because I have no life and am always ready to spontaneously go to a concert, even if its at three in the afternoon, like this one. Well, the positive sides of only having friends that either live very far away or have babies to take care of.
Well, this concert was part of the Salzburger Festspiele, but I know that Mozarteum Orchestra gives concerts throughout the year. Well this one specifically said MOZART. I know he was a genius, writing his first opera at eight, but I was not very excited, because strangely, Mozart always makes me fall asleep within minutes. Even if its life and I am surrounded by people. This happens with no other classical music... well, I wasn't the only one, because I saw plenty of the others head nod down too. lol
Well, the part I actually heard awake was played excellently and the guest-star, don't remember his name, was brilliant at the piano.
