Los Angelisation - Hollywood and Farmer's Market

Well, Alice and I decided to go on a mission. We explored a world that neither one of us had ever seen before, but only knew about from tales, stories and the telly. The world of Mann’s Chinese theatre, of pavement embedded stars and concrete encased imprints of the hands and feet of the famous and beautiful. Hollywood!

Johnny Depp has the same shoe size as me. Cooooool! I shall be famous.

What I didn’t know while we were passing by beer-bellied batman impersonators and all sorts of queer folks was, that I was going to meet yet another travbuddy - TRE69 alias Tracy. After all that display of pride and fame Alice and I had had become hungry and decided to drag our growling stomachs to the farmer’s market (in Fairfax I believe). A lovely little spot that is. LA is so big that sometimes it can seem to be inhabited by cars, rather than by humans. But the farmer’s market is different in that it feels like an oasis for pedestrians, tranquillity and the best roast I have had in a long time. Tracy joined us and we had some great laughs together, listening to a jazz band playing jazz (I guess that’s what jazz bands tend to do).
