A cool bird we saw looking for the Appalachian Trail.
We got up today to head home which is a long drive. Kerry has done this drive by herself several times but God is it monotonous even just once. Of course, it doesn't help that you just had a great time and you have to go back to work 7am sharp the next morning. We decided to take some side trips on the way just to check out some things but didn't really have an easy time of finding anything we wanted to see, lol. We wanted to check out a scrapbook store in a little town and tho and behold it was closed that week, then we wanted to drive thru a national park on the way home only to find that there were no roads thru the park. Then the last straw was we wanted to walk a little on the Appalachian Trail and couldn't find the damn trail head to do it. I like to think that things happen for a reason so I guess that was for the best because if we couldn't even find the trail then the chances of us having a blair witch project or Killarney Nationl Park moment on the Appalachian Trail was probably pretty good :)
