Holiday is in the air at last! My departure to Padang is 5 days more. I have planned where to go and stay. I have got the tickets and booked the hotel. All I have to do is start to pack. I will go with my daughters Arin (12) and Raya (5) and a friend of mine, Tita. We will visit Sikuai Island, Bukit Tinggi, Lake Maninjau, Lake Singkarak, and other beautiful places. We will attend our best friend's wedding and taste some traditional food. Hm... yum yum...

Day 2, Bukit Tinggi

When we arrived at Bukittinggi we passed Jam Gadang (Clock Tower). But, there were too many people so we decided to check in the hotel first. We stayed at Ambun Suri Hotel. It was only 5 minutes walk from Jam Gadang and Muhammad Hatta Museum.

After checking in, resting for a while, and praying maghrib, we walked to Jam Gadang. After taking some pictures, we crossed the street to Plaza Bukittinggi to have dinner. We had dinner at Texas Chicken where food that the children like served. After dinner, we window-shopped for a while. I determined myself not to buy anything. At last, Tita got the tablecloth she wanted. We went back to the hotel when some shops had closed.
