My intentions were to sleep very deeply and long, since I went to bed at 5am! But, my phone rang at 9am (8am) in Lima. It was one of my customers wanting to talk about business. Ok, I’d take care of this later. I was thinking about what to wear and remembered the nice top Mel gave to me. Thank you!! It was the perfect gift! I took a shower and the phone rang again. It was Malvin!!! the TB!!! He was in Lima but would leave shortly, too bad I wasn’t there… I called my Peruvian buddy in order to meet downstairs for breakfast. He just woke up, so it would take some time. What could I do in the meanwhile??? Check my business email and TB, haha. I found some blogs and pics already, haha. I was taking care of business when he came and we went to the restaurant.

Ok, I gave the girl my voucher and she told me the breakfast was US$15 each and my voucher was just US$5!!! Well, I had an idea. It was a buffet, so what about putting all my vouchers together = US$ 25 and adding the difference in order to get 2 nice breakfasts? It worked, yeah! We had a nice breakfast. It would be our meal for the day until we went to the airport, besides a snack we would have later. I went back to the business center to take care of business, while my buddy decided to go to sleep again. OMG! I needed someone with energies… I was done with the computer and asked at the front desk if there was any shopping center nearby. They gave me some directions to go somewhere walking distance. I was ready to leave when Hector showed up and decided to join me. He might have been thinking I was crazy.

Walking in an incredibly hot day. We found a couple of stores. Perfect to buy the things I have been missing for my mom. Hector also bought some beer and we were ready to go back to the hotel and relax until it was time to leave. We had our drinks and I checked my email and TB many times, haha. I also talked to Eric who was meeting a TB �" Karina. She’s coming to Lima in a couple of months. Cool!!! It was almost time to leave, so we had a snack and asked for the shuttle to the airport. We will arrive to the airport early. But I didn’t want to miss the flight again, haha. I arrived to the counter and the guy recognized me. One of the girls was going to make problems about my boarding pass, when he told her, everything was perfect! I couldn’t help to ask him for a pic.

His friends might have thought I was a bit crazy, haha. Well, everything was ready and we still have time. I met a nice woman who was also going to Lima, so the group was growing. We went to our gate and started to wait. No shops were open, so it was getting boring. Suddenly I heard the people at the gate called my name. I showed up and showed my boarding pass. A guy kept it. I was afraid they wouldn’t let me flight, but they just gave me another one and said: You are flying first class! Cool!!!! Ok, boarding was perfect. I took a sit and had so much space. It was a bit cool, but I didn’t have to worry about it, because we had a warm blanket. Also the flight attendant came asking what I would like to have for dinner and gave me the wine list. Perfect!!! Lan is always talking about how comfortable is the 1st class and they don’t lie when they say the seats are extremely comfortable. You can put it completely horizontal! I had a perfect sleep… shhhhhh. Next thing I remember, we were about landing in Lima.

Good choice if you are stuck in Miami
I didn't expect spending a night in Miami, but I was stuck there for 1 day. Like many passengers, I was directed there via American Airlines after missing my flight, at least they paid for the hotel and meals.
I can't say much about the value, since I didn't pay for it. But when I check the rate it seemed to be expensive.
The location is good if you want to be close to the airport, but I won't choose it if I want to be closer to the attractions of Miami. There are are some stores just walking distance. Anyway, the room was clean and tidy. Although the air condition worked it was making a funny noise...
Regarding the amenities, they had a business center with high speed internet access, a pool, a bar with happy hours and a restaurant. I went to the restaurant just for breakfast. They just served buffet breakfast with was not covered by American Airlines. I had to use all my vouchers for the meals??? And it wasn't outstanding, mmm
The staff is friendly and efficient. Most of them have latin roots, so they speak fluent Spanish too. They let us do a really late check out, since we arrived early in the morning - 4am!!!
What I liked the most here was the free transport to and from airport to hotel every half hour. They have shuttles going and coming to the airport frequently, which is really helpful if you don't want to spend much money for a cab.
