This is actually me in Siwa, Egypt, but it looks kinda Gobi-ish.
OK, this is it...this is my blog...I will do the best I can to keep it updated from the wilds of Mongolia. They do have internet there, but not sure how reliable it is, and I think it's only in the big cities...and I won't be in many big cities (uh...there ain't many). I'll try to upload pix too...we'll see!
Folks, please feel free to send me emails...even though I'll be on tours with other folks, it's always nice to get news from home! I will pop into an internet cafe every so often to check in. I'm also taking my iPhone with me, but will not be accepting calls (expensive), and will not be checking email through it (expeeeeeensive). However, if you need me, a text will cost you or me 50 cents to send, and nothing extra to receive (according to AT&T), so text away!
I leave on Sunday, June 29th...going through Seoul, Korea. Next stop..."UB"...Ulan Bataar (a.k.a. Ulan Bator, Ulaan Bataar, etc....Mongolia can't make up its mind and standardize the spelling of its place names...)!
