Red lights and smokey haze...

What can I lived up to its reputation!!! We only needed one night in this place to see everything....the Red Light District (which does not hold back on AnYtHiNg!) The sex museum (very interesting as well as amusing!) and the various 'Coffee Houses' which basically served everything but! We had a delicious piece of cake that kept us amused for hours...hehehe!!

Our Hostel was an experience on its own. It was everything that dindgy Amsterdam is...dirty, smelly, basically gross. Didnt want to think when the last time the sheets were washed! and our bedroom had a dying mouse in an old cardbord box that johnny eventually had to put out of its misery...

But then again, there is another whole side to Amsterdam that we unfortunatley couldnt experience due to being stingy backpackers...and thats the art museums. There were many of these that we really would have loved to see, but at a cost we couldnt afford!! The canals, the bikes (a sight to see!) the history behind Anne Frank and so on. A place worth seeing

We had to say farewell to Andy here, as Johnny and I headed to the beach for a couple of nights of chilling out. Sadly, the surf was as flat as a pancake so we watched some locals 'kite-skating' on the sand. Was pretty cool!
