Prague
After a very early start, we left the grey skies of London and flew in to a lovely white, snowy Prague. After getting picked up from the airport by an interesting Canadian dude, we were taken to our hotel. We then hopped on the tram and explored the town. Prague is a wonderful little city full of windy old narrow streets, all cobblestones which feels so nice under my feet!!! Over the next couple of days we did a tour of town (Astronomical Clock, St Vitus Cathedral, Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Old Town Square), a boat trip, a ghost tour and on our last full day did a day trip to see the Karlštejn Castle built in the 14th century. It was magic. Prague definatley lives up to its reputation as it is a beautiful city full of old european charm. And the local pub food ROCKS! Definatley dig into the Goulash...its so delicious!!!
Sadly, our travels with Anne-Marie and JT ended here, as they had to fly home to Australia. To work. hehehe. We had such a great time with you guys, it was hard saying goodbye...but easy to say see you soon! Thankyou for making it so much fun!
