Berlin!!!
Hey peoples!!!
Berlin was a blast...we stayed at the nicest, funkiest hostel I have ever been in right next to the TV tower in Alexanderplatz so we were pretty central. Johnny and I made the most of it and saw as much as we could squeeze into 3 days...including a day trip to Sachenhausens Concentration Camp which was an experience on its own. Berlin Wall is covered in artwork and was really cool to see, and the Jewish museum was as artwork in itself... really cool.
There was a pub crawl advertised so we went and checked that out on our last nght. The first meeting spot had around 50 drunk aussies so we ditched it and decided to go hang with the locals!!! We did our own pub crawl in the groovy suburb of Prenzlauerburg and met some really nice guys who took us along to the pub they were heading, then we moved to another one where we met two ladies who were more than happy to have a good old yarn!!
Berlin is amazing city full of really friendly people...we had a record of 30 seconds of getting help when we would get the maps out!!!! Good Times
