After a 24 hour flight from Sydney, I arrived in Cork to be met by Johnny, Anne Marie, JT and their friend Ross. Ross is an old friend from when the Tillers lived in Oman and was a host with the most driving us all around Corks country and coast. So beautiful. Drove up to a cliff where a local lighthouse was and nearly got blown into the sea by the chilly breeze. Went out to a local pub for dinner, Anne-Marie fell in love with the Crab Claws they served there! That night we stayed in a cute little B'n'B called TIERNEYS!!! Yay sis!
Up early the next day, we said our farewells to Ross and headed off for own little tour driving through Tipperary and heading to Limerick where we met with a Local mate Joe (Johnny met in Peru) who took us all to Doongberg Beach so Johnny could catch a few waves!!! Crazy! That night we met up with Carmel (who was with Joe and johnny on the Peru trek) for dinner, followed by a few drinks at Limericks version of the Steyne! yehah!
The following day we dorve through the countryside and headed east to Dublin. First thing we did was head to the Guiness Brewery (beer!) then hit the streets for some sightseeing, including St Patricks and The walk along O'Connell Street. Later that night we hit a few pubs recommended by one of JT's mates, the famous Stags Head and the Porterhouse (our favourite). Good times!!!!
