Day 2
August 16, 2004
Getting up early, we headed out and started fishing. We wouldn't hit the fish as hard today, but we'd catch a couple good ones. Dad caught a nice red snapper and I caught a fair spanish mackerel. By days end, after some bottom fishing and trolling, we went back to AJ's for weigh in and proferred or catches. By final weigh in time, my mackerel was still the biggest of the day! It wouldn't stand for the tournament but I won a t-shirt for my efforts. This would prove to be our final day of fishing, weather rolled in and cut our trip short. Not to worry, we came to be together as family and that's what we did. Dad and I took off a day later and headed back home.
