me and my workmates...

Last Sunday July 13, 2008 I and my workmates had been in a trekking adventure.  We off in our meeting place at exactly 7:30 am and arrived in our targeted place at about 8:20 am.  We bought some candles and started to walk in our journey.  Perhaps you were wondering why we bought candles? Actually, the place that we had been with is said to be a sacred and miraculous place.  Before you can get at the exact location, you have to cross first the nine rivers.  Maybe you were thinking that there are local boats that will get you to pass the river, and then you were wrong.  It is because you really have to cross it all by yourself.  Yes indeed! It was truly tiring but worthy experience for me.  The challenges that you will meet is the huge river, the strong current of the water, huge slimy stones that you really need to get your balance or else you will find yourself all wet.

I never mind the river at all, but I mind the sacred place which is the talk of the town.  But before you can get at the sacred place, you will be amaze with the huge mountains surrounding you, abounding with huge tress as well.  In fact, not only we with my workmates had been there but there are various people also going in there.  The place is amazing; it seems like surrounding with huge mountains and inside it are great panoramic sceneries.  Though our place is nearby this place, it was only last Sunday which was my first time in going there and it was truly incredible.  It was one of my experiences I can never forget.  I enjoyed taking a lot of pictures using my cell phone.  For about an hour, at last we arrived in the exact place we had been waiting to see.

And yes the place is called “Guadalupe” it is because, it has been said that it is in this place where the miraculous “Birhen of Guadalupe” shown miracles.

The chapel of Guadalupe is there where it has been visited with various tourists.  As we arrived there, we lighted the candles that we brought and say a little prayer.  I and my workmates arrived there all wet and tired but still smiling with the fulfilling feeling.  We took our lunch there, and took some pictures again after.  In our hour of relaxing, we decided to go back and face the challenges again for home.  It was really and exciting, memorable and worthy experience for me.
