I am staying for one month in China. My dad has a conference in Beijing and will be giving some lectures. That gives me some time to explore this city on my own.

The location of this park is its crown jewel. After walking through the Fobidden City all you want to do is lie down in the grass or enjoy some cool breeze at the top of this scenic hill.
At the top are two gazebo style buildings formerly housing religious relics. On a hot summer day you will find people relaxing here and looking out over the Forbidden City all displayed before you.
You can lose track of time on the many winding paths that will take you through bamboo forests and well kept gardens on the sides of the hill.
Entrance is only two yuan, amazing for this historic spot.
