Rainy, Sunny, Strange but a great day!

A few days ago Susanne (www.travbuddy.com/suus3010 ) told me that we would go to 'Burgers Zoo' at Arnhem at Sunday!
We went with 2 another friends, and this must be a nice SUNNY day.. but we didnt get sun all the time :P

We arrived at about 01.00pm at the zoo and start visiting the animals.. I love to see tigers or lions etc. and I love the 'Sea World'! They made it really beautiful! Since it was long ago we've been there it was all different and nice to see, cause we were little childs when we came there.. and then we came only for the playground, and not for the animals ;) So we saw every part of the Zoo which is very beautiful! Like the Sea World, Safari, Desert etc!

We looked at the sky.. it was grey! But there was still no rain.

For a few minutes... It starts raining.. TOO much! OMG! Susanne took her umbrella but it was a small one, so we became really wet.. there was no place to go inside.. it was funny but cold ;)
And finally after a short walk we found something to go in.. you could walk a little 'downstairs' and there were standing so many ppl.. we were there also and watched outside! It was beautiful.. everywhere was water and it was the place for the monkeys! They were inside.. after a few minutes of rain it starts to rain 'balls'... No snow, no rain.. don't know the word! But it was too big, about 3cm!! And it was beautiful to see how it fell down into the water, with a dark sky, trees etc!
We thought we were safe.

It happens.. that we didnt expect.. all the water came into the place where we were standing! everyone was standing at a 'couch' to stay dry! It was only ice.. and green of the trees! Everyone wanted to wait till the rain was gone.. it took like 10 minutes or something maybe more.. A few persons were standing inside the water and decided to take some ppl outside at their back! so they dont have to walk in the water.. Floor was gone really fast..
Susanne and I took our shoes off, cause they wont be wet.. but if it was a good option, I dont know! I put my feet into the water and it was COLD!! ICECOLD!! I was freezing and didnt want to go away, but I had to! Then Susanne went.. and she went in one time! I took first another couch and later I decided to run! My feets were freezing, I put my shoes on, but were shaking.. it was funny to see.. I've never seen something like this before in my life or in the Netherlands.. I read at the internet that the wind was like 90km/h.. it was heavy! All around arnhem everything is green because of the trees! 

After we walked further and it was all oke.. we just have had a little bit of rain, but after it was a totally blue sky and sunny and really hot!
It was another day then we expected but even with this its fun to go out.. I will put some pictures at it, just to show you how bad it was.. :P
