JC finally made it!!

This story started in late March or early April.  I don't remember how it started but I asked him to come to Japan as I always say to other TBs. Half joking, half serious because I know many people are not really take it seriously so I just say everyone to come to Japan when they say they want to come.  So I said the same thing to JC because he wasn't sure where he wanted to go. He didn't say he WANTS to come that time lol!!
He told me he might come to japan a several weeks later. I told him not to come to Japan in the summer because it's crazy hot here but his holiday was only in August...

He finally decided to come :)  We started to talk about where to visit, when's good on both TB and email. He had a perfect shcedule on his trip. I've never seen that kind of schedule before. Everything was organized very well.

I got a phone call from JC at 9:30am. He's landed in Japan!!
I went to Nagoya station to meet him at 10:30am. He was already waiting for me with a small backpack :)  When  I found him, I ran to him and hugged and kissed. He finally made it! Yaaay!! He was told by Martin that he shouldn't hug or kiss to Japanese people.  We don't do that usually but not me :D So he was a bit surprised. hehe :P Yup, I'm westernized.. if you know me :P

Everything was new to him so his eyes were wide open and looking everywhere. I had to go to the travel agency to pay for my flight to Thailand so I took him there too. Sorry about that :P The guy who did everything for me was really really polite, by the way. .
Then our hot day started!!

We went to Nagoya port. They have aquerium, ferris wheels, etc.. we didn't do anything special. Went to Yabacho for lunch. There's a popular restaurant called 'Yabaton'. It's fried pork restaurant with Nagoya's famous red miso on it.  Yum!!
He's in Nagoya so he had to taste Nagoya food :)
After lunch we walked to Sakae station to go to Nagoya castle and meet up with Agi. On our way to the station, we were walking underground and we went to green tea shop. This shop searve free green tea. Regular green tea and another green tea called 'maccha' which is really thick but you drink with sweet snack. We sat down, had a free tea and left. HAHA  JC thought we have to pay but I told him it's FREE. We have lots of free things :-)

We met up with Agi (she came to Osaka meet up a few weeks ago) at the station and we all went to Nagoya castle. It was really hot outside so we went inside of the castle and cooled down. We watched boring 3D movie about the castle and it was lik 10 minutes. haha!! We stayed there for about an hour.

Then we went back to Nagoya station and went to Takashimaya (a big mall) to see Snoopy fair. Agi wanted to go but I wanted to have an ice cream with snoopy cookie so we all went. Agi was super excited. haha!! JC and I took a pic with a huge snoopy. AHAHAHA!! It was funny.
JC picked up his backpack from the locker and went back to Sakae to do more sightseeing.
On the way to JC's hotel, a girl was giving free tissues but it was BLACK and outside's picutre was different animals. kinda cute :)
We went to Oasis 21 (i have no idea why it's called like that. should research about this place. .), central park/TV tower. And went to Osu kannnon.

Dinner time!! We went to 'Furaibo'(風来坊)　very famouse restaurant for chicken wings. Another Nagoya food. It was a bit crowded and most of them were businessmen.. and we had to sit down on the floor which is very Japanese way. We weren't comfortable sitting on the floor.. lol
Had some chicken wings and other chicken food and left for 'my bar'.
It was tuesday so it was ladies night! Nomihodai (all you can drink) for 1,500yen. But they have nomihodai menu so it's not really 'all you can drink'.. Too bad JC is a guy so couldn't get it :P
They had live show that night and the singer was Spanish. AHAHAHA!!!!!! I had no idea they have live band and the guy was Spanish and  singing Spanish song.. If i knew, I wouldn't take them there..
I think we were so loud. Talking and laughing. Oh well, it was fun anyway. I had to leave after 11pm or i'll miss my last subway back home. Said good bye with hugs and kisses to both JC and Agi. I didn't want to leave but had to work the next day..
I had a great day with JC and Agi. And it was my longest meet up in my town. From 10:30am to 11pm. lol
