After an 8 hour trip by car we arrived Czech Republic in the early morning. It was a bit cloudy and raining for a while but the country was still beautyfull and the people very kind. Our hotel was situated in a small village named Frymburk along the Lipno lake. The hotel was as small as the village itself but perfect. A couple of rooms, very gentle people and the food was simple but the best.
The first day it rained a lot so we went to Austria to search for some sunshine and we found a lot and also cows. Not the purple ones from Milka :( Haha. I love those beasts, they're so curious and funny. But we finally went to some places to relax and drank lots of coffee and tea and ice creams. This is a holiday without any exciting plans, just drive and look where we will end.
After lots of rain it became sunny so we visited some historical places in Czech. Unfortunately we didn't had the chance to go to Praha but we will go an other time, there must be something left to visit. ;) So we drove to Hungary to the Balaton lake and it was beautifull, never seen that strange water-colour. To be honest we were a bit bored in this area as we couldn't relax in the sun because of a mosquitoplage (?) (muggenplaag), there were thousands of them. The accomodation was dirty with dead flies and beast in our bed and living ones everywhere so we were glad when we could drive further to Croatz where we would meet family/friends.
The first day in Croatz was a bit cloudy but it went very hot, almost 40 degrees, a bit too hot to me.
Slovenia was great and after all relax, we sat down there and drank cappucino and tea the whole day.
We made a day trip by boat to Venice, a beautifull city but smaller than expected. We decided to celebrate our 6 years weddingday here in a gondola which was perfect. :) It was also a perfect day to end our small roadtrip.
I will upload all the pictures for each country seperated. :)
