Good old Jerantut

I arrived at the bus station in Kuala Lumpur as early as I could manange, promptly at 9:00, only I found out the 9:30 bus was full to my dismay.  I never knew there was a 9:30 bus, but I was still upset when I found out it was full.  So, I had to kill some time until 10:45, and I figured breakfast was the best way to do that.  Some Laska Johor was scarfed down and I still had some time, so I ended up walking around the same block many times.

The bus arrived in Jerantut at oh, I don't remember, 2.  I explained that I wanted to do the trip to Taman Negara that included bus to Kuala Tembling and boat from there to Taman Negara.  The man said this was impossible to do that day, because the last boat was leaving during our conversation.  My other option was the local bus that takes you right to Taman Negara.  I decided that this was better than spending a night in Jerantut, which was quite earie, if I don't mind saying.  I killed some time eating and having a conversation with an old man about Vietnamese life, which was quite a good time killer.  I exited that ghost town and hopped on the 5:00 bus, which was actually a van, correction, a very hot van.  But, it was relaxed, people were rocking cigs and stuff.  The bus only took a tad over an hour..for 6 ringit (the boat alone is 25 ringit), I thought it worked out for the best.
