Whats in Kansas City?

Im gonna keep this short because alot of things happend and im sure i wont remember all of them. Please see others blogs to fill in the blanks. =]

Okay here goes...

My flight was on friday morning around 6 ish and i didnt get much sleep the night before but i did wake up in time to take a quick shower and head of to the airport.  My flight was with Mel and Erin which was great.  Got a quick bite to eat at the coffe bean? then Erin and Mel had an argument about losing an SD card for Erins camera which was funny because they both swore on their mothers life that the other person has it. So that argument went nowhere and we boarded the flight.  Mel and Erin saved me a seat in the middle. i dont mind because i never use the bathrooms in airplanes (although i told them that i take frequent trips to the bathroom so i can get the aisle seat) didnt happen though.   So then we ordered drinks. I dont drink that much as Mel stated in her blogs.  Im a cheap date as people would say. but i did have a rum and coke which got me pretty buzzed. my heart was pounding a mile a minute with just that one drink and it didnt help that Mel and Erin were being crazy next to me.  Yes we were those people on the plane that annoyed the hell out of everyone else.  I did manage to get some sleep, i put my ipod on.  at one point Erin taps me on the shoulder and i said "What?" which i guess was loud because i had my ipod on and everyone turned around to look at me.  To cut story short. Flight lands in KC.

James picks us up from the airport and forgets where he parked his car.  We walked around the parking lot for a while and finally found it after what seemed like 30 mins of walking.    We went to walmart to buy SD card and my gel for my mo-hawk. (cause they wont let liquids on a plane) then went back to the airport to pick up Tim (very funny reaction from Tim.. see pictures)  Got to our hotel and checked in.  I think thats when we met Yadi and Eric. then after we all got situated we headed of to Raglans Irish pub where we had lunch.. i had the shepards pie, part of Sals sandwich and all of his bucket of fries. ( iwas really hungry) then we went to the basketball museum.

At the basketball Museum we played basketball. Did some dunks, shot some hoops. played Eric one on one where he cleaned the floor with me but played teams (me and james) vs (eric and mel) which we won. so i count that as even.  So the basketball games added a ton of sweat to the already existing sweat from the humidity of Kansas City.

I think the next stop was howl at the moon where we met more Tbers, Shawn, Bill, Harriet ?? if i missed anyones name im sorry. Lots of crazy singing and dancing and drinking went on here. please see pictures for hellariusness.

Then down to a medetranian place where i had pizza which i didnt finish but Sal paid for it which was nice of him.  Then back to Raglans pub where the irish music was playing. i had a dark ale guiness and danced the irish jig with eric , then erin. im sure i made a fool of myself but it was fun and when are you going to have the chance to dance the irish jig with a live band?? case and point. =] lots of fun shinanigans happened that night.

Next day sunday.  i woke up around 10 where we met everyone downstairs in the lobby. . i was really hungry and needed breakfast. but before that i went to the union station and checked out the architecture and to see if i can get some maps for my friend Jegs. (he collects maps) =]  no maps =[ but i did get cool photos of trains (not real ones) then headed back to hotel. just a few minutes walk and i was already sweating. ( i later used my name tag to cover the sweat spot but it just made a square sweat spot on my shirt) ok so once we gathered everyone we headed to the war memorial. Sal was driving and we were following James (but actually we were following another toyota that looked like jameses) so we took a wrong turn. hehe but we found the real james and got to the memorial.  that place was great! again see pics to see its greatness.   then we saw some more fountains (even though this city is supposed to be the most fountains next to rome, i think i only saw 5) haha then we ate! hooray! i had an omlette which was gooooood. then we headed back to the hotel but we stopped by the museum of art. they had cool sculptures there and we took funny pictures of the giant badminton thing and they sent out security to shoo us away.  inside the museum i saw A MONET AND VAN GOGH which was the HIGHLIGHT of the day!
ok then back to hotel shower and change.. no wait we had shakes! thanks Harriet!

Ok so once everyone was ready we headed to the basement place and met the new TB and Marks band was playing (we were a little late arriving) Thats where i met Sari and Natalia. then we went to the sports bar where we met andy.   I played Erin pool. we both sucked. (because of the table??) i was winning but i accidentally sunk the cue ball when trying to sink the eight. second game, agian i was winning but was postponed due to ceremonies.  oh yeah i was officially knighted by Mel which was surprising.   took pic of Jen with her ninja pose. then off to Plaza again with Natalia and Harriet (in Natalias cool mini cooper) Lots of confusion and people missing and packed bars and clubs so we ended up at Raglans again.  talked so Sari which was great. then went back to hotel and had a midnight drink with Yadi and Eric and Sal and Will. then james and erin joined us after a while.

Didnt get much sleep but slept on the plane and was tired for two days.. slept 12 hours for two days in a row.  thats how good the meet up was. =]
