Omer
July 6, 2008
Omer was our guest for about one week and will be our guest for another week in a few days...
He's Turkish, but born in Morez, France. So he has a typical french accent in speaking, loves eating Baguette - French in all his behaviour ;-))
He came to Achern about 6 months before cause he was writing his master thesis there about twin town relationships. Morez is the twin town of Achern and that s why he came here.
He had a flat for these 6 months but he needed 3 more weeks and so he had to find another place to stay...
well - that was our home....
I knew him cause a good friend of mine has a travel agency with a tourist information included and that was the place where Omer had to write his master thesis.
Before he was staying with us we already met several times - for example to see the EM Football matches. Poor Omer - he lost 3 times - Turkey, French and German... all three play offs were so hard to him ;-))
He's really nice but also sooo - well.. how to explain....
complicated in some ways, sooo slowly, forgettable (he searched his mobile 3 times in one hour for example)...
well... not that easy to life with ;-)))
He comes to the kitchen... talking to himself... "hmm.. where is... where is... - ah I know" - He can do that 10 times an evening ;-))
Than he always tried to get up early - but never managed to get up before 12:00 afternoon...
So it was really an exhausting week with him - but also sooo funny.
