Went to brussels and brugge to escape the netherlands after Queens day!

brussels/brugge

After the craziness that is Koninginnedag in Amsterdam, i decided a trip to Belgium would be relaxing. It was just what I needed. I spent my first two days in Brussels. I walked around, ate far too much chocolate, drank delicious beer, and had a great night out with a British friend of mine living there. My last day was spent in Brugge. Brugge is such a picturesque place. Reminds me of a fairy tale. I enjoyed walking around and also visiting a few museums.

Delirium Cafe
Delirium Cafe is a very cool bar in Brussels. At first you think it's going to be crappy (well at least I did, because you go down some creaky stair into a basement. But the area is huge! There's even a stage for dancing! The cafe server over 2004 beers including their own special beer, Delirium, which is quite tasty! The beers are averagely priced, great atmosphere, music, and people! DEfinitely hit this place up if you are in the area!
