Bali, Kuta - part2

Our stay in Bali - we started in Kuta then to Ubud then back to Kuta, below are photos taken during the 2nd stint in Kuta and also a review of the hotel.

Back to Kuta, we didn't reserve for any hotels prior to our arrival (as this was unexpected, change of events had us head back to kuta instead of other previous plans) and the place we stayed before was fully booked. It was a saturday and we did not realize til too late that many of the travel agents close early on saturday and all of them were closed this specific saturday for an important Balinese or Hindu day (can't recall the reason). We mentioned to our driver that we would like to stay within walking distance of the mall this time, so he recommended we stay at the Dayu Beach Hotel, on a small street from the main Kartika Plasa Street (where the Discovery Mall is located). We just chilled for these 4 days and toured around this area a little, relaxing in the air conditioned areas at peak heat outside and enjoying outside dining and the sunsets and such when it cooled. Also was easy to walk to Kuta square so we saw what there was to see and did some shopping, buying more DVD's of course :) along with gifts at the Hard Rock Store(very large) and from Matahari and other places.
