When in Kuta we ate alot at the Discovery Mall for lunch and dinner but another favorite place was a little friendly place called Sinta Cafe.
We ate here several times as it had great food, very fun and friendly staff and a nice environment. It was located in between our hotel and the mall/beach so we could hit it on the way back to the hotel and not have far to walk afterwards - when our bellies were full. At first we werent really excited about eating there (not fancy looking ), but then we checked the menu at the entrance, and the staff gave us a very warm welcome :).
Shane ordered Grilled Tuna and Bir Bintang (famous local beer) twice, for IDR 50,000 ($ 5.50 included tip). Asri as usual had her Indo food, Nasi Goreng (fried rice) and Mie Goreng (fried noodle) and favorite drink: Teh Botol Sosro.
We liked this place and recommend it if you are anywhere close to the mall area. Its located on a small side street by the mall. Across from the mall there is a store to buy dvd's next to that stretch of stores is Adhi hotel and the street runs next to that hotel.
We also enjoyed meals at a few other places , just quick snacks really and no pics to show.
