Prescott and Flagstaff

It was the next day that we finally found our destination, Flagstaff Arizona. Not the traditional hot Arizona you expect (although it was August, so it was hot). But we were about 2,000 feet above sea level meaning the heat is bearable, unlike Phoenix where it seems to be 100 degrees on a regular basis. Well we not only found Flagstaff, but we also found the apartment Kurt would be living in, however that we could not move him in until tomorrow. So instead we took the time to explore the area and see what Flagstaff had to offer. We explored a local Park and hiked up to a Butte (I can't remember the name) and got a tour a little south in Prescott. Prescott is quite the historical town and at some point in Wyatt Earp’s life he spent some time here, and in some of the bars you can see the bullet holes in the ceiling from past shoot outs and brawls. A very nice Arizona town, but instead of being able to enjoy it we were still tired from the long drive, anxious to move Kurt into his new place and fearing the 32 hour drive back that was going to come in only a couple of days (Crazy Jake actually had a job to get back to unlike the rest of us unemployed bums).
