day 3: the great surprise
the 3rd day was... great great great!!! we met at the central station with Lauro & D. (Diane), took the train, went to cologne, changed trains to go to... (i dont remember the name but i have a picture of it... hehehehe...) konigswinter, to meet there another Lauro's tb friend... Rosi! somewhere in the way we had to leave the train (because of... ''technical reasons'') & take a bus to drive us to the konigswinter's train station! the wheather was very nice, blue sky ¬ cold... we felt so lucky!!
so we met Rosi! a lovelly german, who took us for lunch to a beautiful german restaurant (thank u so much!)... it was so nice there that we forgot to check the time! but of course it didnt matter, (we were kinda in a hurry cause D.
had to catch th train for going back to amsterdam) we got to know each other... :)) after that... we started climbing...a hill...? a little mountain...? i dont know how to call it, to see the castle +the ruins of an older castle! the way up it was so tiring but so beautiful! +when we got up we were amazed by the view! i felt i could saty there for ever... hehehe... thank u so much guys! while we were going back it started to rain, but fortunatelly we were close to the train station, for our way back to cologne!&then it was colonge &my madness about starbucks... hehehehehe (sorry guys i had to wake up somehow)... the cathedral was amazing... so big with so many things to observe... fortunatelly it was open so we could get inside, but unfortunatelly there was a church-function (??) so we couldnt go all around.
.. but anyway it was ok for me (im not religious at all)... oh &sorry Marianna we didnt go upstairs... we walked by the river, went over the bridge to see the beautiful view &take pics of it, then a part of the old city, back to the train station to dusseldorf!another beautiful day of this trip!!! D. was very nice! so sweet, kind &always smilling! hey thanks for the support on the ''starbucks-thing'' hehehehehe... next time we'll meet, i hope we will enjoy together our favourite coffee! :)) &Rosi! ohh Rosi! she's a crazy german girl who made us feel like home! so nice, kind & open, with great stories & great taste! a beautiful person that i feel very lucky to meet (i should thank Lauro for that as well?!?!) i hope i will have the chance to meet u again (all of u & each of u!)
