Progressive Field and the jeans

So, the drive back to Cleveland was a huge accomplishment. Koby thought I kept nodding off, but really I just kept looking at the speedometer to make sure I wasn't speeding as badly as I wanted to. I promise I was so tired I thought I was going to kill us, but we made it to the hotel and as luck would have it found a parking spot right in front of the hotel...yay - saved $16!
Bright and early we woke up the next morning to get this day started. It was a beautiful morning and Koby really wanted to see more of Cleveland. We debated briefly about just staying an extra day, but it was $125 to stay another night. I assured him he wasn't missing anything! We packed our bags, dropped them off at the hotel counter and drove to the airport where we proceeded to drive around for an extra 1/2 hour just looking for a gas station.
On a positive note though, Koby was in love with the arrangement of the sport arenas being downtown. I reminded him that the other places we have gone to baseball games (Cincinnati and Pittsburgh) were set up like that too. I think Milwaukee just did something strange by building their ballpark in the middle of a boring part of town that certainly doesn't showcase what Milwaukee has to offer.
So anyway, we decide to ask someone working outside of Progressive Field if there are any places to eat around. "No," he says. Koby, of course believes him, but I know this man is either an idiot or a liar! So I drag Koby around the former Gund Arena (I am hereby refusing to call it the Quicken Loans Arena ) and there is a street full of places to eat.
So we get to the game and sit in our very great seats and realize the sun is beaming on us. For me this is fine, for Koby he is having problems. I still don't know why he only brought jeans in the middle of June! He keeps getting up and walking around because he's hot. And I sit and watch baseball...and I hate baseball. I find it boring. Sometime during the 4th inning I say I want water and Koby says lets leave! What! He loves baseball - but he's too hot, him and those damn jeans - what a waste of $50.
So now it's pretty early as we head back to the hotel and get our bags.
