The Pose at MOVIEWORLD
The 3rd day of our trip & it's to Movieworld. I've never been to a theme park before in my life & I'm truely looking forward to it. Rollercoasters are just what I'm dying to ride. As usual, we had to wake up early around 8am, have the usual breakfast and head to Movieworld. When we reached movie world, it was like about 10am again and at the entrance, there were so many people queueing up at the ticketing booth to enter Movieworld. I know this has to be a great place that's why there were so many queueing up. Movieworld closes around 5pm so 10am to 5pm, I don't think that's a long time with the large crowd even on a weekday, queuing up for your turn to take on the rides can take quite some time.
I took some snapshots of the theme park & 1st, we went to the Batman new simulator ride.
Very interesting but on maintenance
I thought it was freaky as we had to enter this dark place, which was the secret officer of Bruce Wayne. All that entered this place had to ride the simulator ride whereby we (so called Batman helpers) assisted Batman in his quest to stop Mr Freeze, Catwoman & Joker who escaped the prison. It wasn't that long and we went to other rides like Batman's Sling shot (that was a real heart stopping ride) whereby one takes a seat and this sling shot will catapulted onto the orbit and returns to the ground in a few seconds. Scary but I liked it. I was raring to try more rides.
Din told me, he didn't have the mood & I wished I could've slapped him. This is a holiday & holidays are meant to enjoy yourself. We went to other rides like Lethal Weapon, Wild West, Scooby Doo etc.
Can I own one?
Rides like the new Superman escape but sadly it was "closed" due to some technical faults. Din then told me that roller coasters have this short thrill and nothing much. Again, i felt like slapping him. We went on to take photos with the stars there like Shrek, Catwoman *wow*, Wonder woman and much more. Souvenirs were also purchased and off we go back to the hotel.
If you think the day was over for us, you're wrong. In Surfer's Paradise, on every wednesdays, they have this night market like over 70 stalls with people selling their own made products at the beach. Things on sold ranged from jewellery, photo frames and much more. I didn't get anything there & I was a little disappointed I didn't get this particular flower frame for my mum. We spent like an hour there & then head back to the hotel after eating kebab.
