relaxing Platamonas

After Thessaloniki we get to the Platamonas driving along the coast (only 1,5 hour from Thessaloniki) to take our time relaxing in this small cute town. The name Platamonas got from the platan trees which can be found in the areas surrounding town. And because it was the end of September there were no tourists so we enjoyed walking along the coast, smelling salty fresh air from the sea, and believe or not we got swim :o) yes, it was little colder water but we couldn’t resist not to jump to the sea. Hm, I didn’t bring my bathing suit, but whatever, I really couldn’t resist and I jumped in my clothes :o) and I enjoyed as child :o)  In the afternoon we found little tavern by the coast where local people use to be and sister and me spend few lazy hours enjoying in perfect meal with fish , greek salads and coffe  - ah, tavern by the sea, perfect meal, without crowd, only lonely with your happy thoughts, and what you need more? Nothing more , that was one perfect moment.

OK, after such afternoon we couldn’t move for one more hour :o) but soon after that we found new interesting thing to do :o) There were venetian Castle on the hill in Platamon, so we made little night expedition to get there, 4 of us (crazy girls) climbed through the dark and after more than 1 hour we reached to the castle  of course we didn’t enter ‘cause who could be there in 10 p.m. but we walked around the castle walls and enjoy in view on night lights of Platamonas below us and moonlight spreading over sea.

We finished perfect day with perfect glass of greek red wine siting by the sea :o)

So, you have to know how to enjoy in little perfect moments and make of them one big perfect day :o) this day was one of … :o)
