Staying with my friend and her twins

So for 8 days I was staying with my friend Angel her twins and her man in Springfield, Ontario. Which is a small town south of London, Ontario. Close by cities are St. Thomas and Aylmar.  We didn't do anything touristy so there's not really much to tell. We did go swimming though or tried to since the kids started freaking out every time we tried to take a swim. lol I guess they thought the big bathtub was trying to eat mommy and mommy's friend. Lake Whittaker it was called and is located near the Aylmar Wildlife Management Area. You pay for a day pass and that's it. There's a parking lot, picnic tables and even a camping ground, but that cost extra. The lake is clean and the water refreshing. It reminded me a lot of the water holes that we used to go swimming in back in Germany. All together, Ontario reminded me a lot of back home, minus the mountains. lol
The last 3 days had pretty heavy thunderstorms and the power went out a couple of times which would have been bad if it would have been very hot. It did cool down at night though so it wasn't a problem at all.
