I was so lucky that I had a chance to visit Japan in January 2007. I was one of twelve Indonesian Islamic School Heads that invited by Ministry of Foreign Affair Japan in collaboration with PPIM UIN Jakarta. In my opinion, Japan has done a great job in preserving its culture while moving towards to modernism. I could not say anything besides "Thank you Lord... alhamdulillah..."

Day 14, Sayonara Japan

This morning was the saddest morning during my visit to Japan. Yeah it was because I had to leave Japan. We went to Narita International Airport by bus with Ibu Miyo. On the bus, Ibu Miyo gave each of us a souvenir. I chose lipstick from France, yeah...

In the airport, before we entered for checking in, we said good bye to Ibu Miyo officially. We promised each other to keep in touch. While waiting for our flight, I made a note of all the group members' telephone numbers. So, we can keep in touch even we live in different cities.

On the airplane, I was not sad anymore, cause I would meet my family again ;-)
