Today was quite a long day. The theme of today visit was "Industry". We went to Rokugo Vocational School. The school had many majors, such as carpentery, metal work, automative, and design. The school's aim was to prepare the students to work in industrial field.
Then we had lunch at Marine Museum, but we didn't go to the museum. From the restaurant we could see the view of Tokyo. The view definitely pleased my eyes. The food... as I told you before, I missed Indonesian food. So, every food tasted ordinary to me that time. After having lunch, we went to the souvenir shop. I bought pins and postcards.
Then we went to Panasonic Center. We were shown their new invention ECO House. The house was modernly equipped by electric home appliances. The energy was produced by solar panel and windmill. Even I knew that Japan was leading in technology, looking it by myself with my own eyes still made me totally amazed.
We had dinner at Surabaya Indonesian Restaurant. Yippee... Indonesian food at last. We ordered sate and fried rice. I had imagined that I would eat Indonesian taste. But, when I ate... the taste was like Japanese food. Hahaha. I asked the waiter who was an Indonesian about it. He explained that the recipe had been modified to make it suitable with Japanese tounges.
After we had enough eaten, we bought some souvenirs at Aqua City Odaiba. I bought some beutiful chopstics for my friends and key cahins for my daughters. Then, we went back to the hotel.
