Where there's a waterfall, there's mud and water!

Me + Waterfall
Not surprisingly, the summer in the UK has been a washout again. Not that I would know because I'm rarely here but I needed to escape for the day because the weather was just getting to me. I packed a small backpack, trekking shoes and a water proof jacket and called my friend. He was anxious to take his car for a drive, so I suggested the water falls near Glyn Neath in South Wales. I'd been there several times before and although it can get a little damp it's usually safe!

Not this time though after climbing down the slippery pathway to the water fall we somehow managed to get lost! Not to be deterred, we continued to get even more lost for the next 4 hours until eventually, covered in mud, half starved and soaked we emerged several miles away from the carpark! Next time, actually there won't be a next time - at least we got some nice pictures along the way!
