Power weekend trip to celebrate my birthday.

Museums galore and Arlington National Cemetary

Spent most of my day at the National Gallery of Art and the National Portrait Museum.  The National Portrait Museum has paintings of all the Presidents that used to hang in the White House, VERY cool.  The National Gallery of Art has the only DaVinci in the States and tons of Van Gogh, Manet, Monet and Cezane.  I was also able to get in the National Archives to see the Constitution, Declaration and Bill of Rights.  They just got an original of the Magna Carta which was pretty cool.

Went over to Arlington Cemetary and it really is one of those places you just have to see for yourself.  The pictures just don't give the magnitude of what you are seeing.  Spent the afternoon checking out the Vietnam Veterans Wall and the WWII Memorial.  When I was there Marine One flew over towards the White House, how cool is that!!  In a nutshell, great trip.

Haven't been to Arlington in a long time. Maybe that will be our next trip when we go into the city.
Your pictures are all very nice :)
