This was the 5th Wacky Wine Festival and still only R40 for 3 days worth of tasting. It was both festive and awesome. We only got to about 5 or 6 wine farms boght lots of wine to take home and had a ball.

5th Annual Wacky Wine Festival Robertson 2008

Wow what a weekend. if you are in or near South Africa in June 2009 you must attend the annual Wacky Wine Festival. It rocks. With more then 20 wine farms to choose from,  some awesome wine tatsing, loads of entertainment for the kids and a great time had by all. We visited Graham Beck Wine Estate and bough 3 cases of wine before wandering down to Bon Courage where nearly everyone was drinking the Blush Cap De Classic.

We stayed over in Worcester at an awesome guset farm cottage called Brandwacht, only R640 for a stylish 3 bed "cottage" with fireplace overloooking the vinyards.
