Brussels to Lisbon

Brussels Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

While on a business trip to Lisbon, I spent a little time checking it out and also got to take a side trip to Porto, Portugal's second largest city. I continued on to Austria to see my colleague compete in the Ironman Austria competition in Klagenfurt, with a little 36 hour detour to Vienna. I spent one night in Frankfurt on my way back home. It felt a little like the grand tour of Europe packed into a few short days!

Brussels to Lisbon

I had been trying to get a business deal in Brussels closed for the past couple of days so that I could head down to Lisbon to meet a colleague there on another matter.  I finally got the signatures I needed on the contract, so was able to catch a noon flight on TAP Air Portugal to Lisbon.  It's a two and a half hour flight to Lisbon.  The plane was a fairly new Airbus so it was quite nice.  I was originally on the standby list, but I cleared at the last minute and was allowed to go on board.  I arrived in Lisbon shortly after 2:30 that afternoon.
