We bumped into George last night, we originally met him in Manuel Antonio, he is one of the nicest down to earth Americans that we got to know so far, we was having a overpriced sandwhich in a soda, then suddenly he appeared to us, it was so good seeing him, as we never got to say goodbye in Manuel.  We spent the rest of the afternoon drinking beer and playing cards, Rummy and Uno, George told us all about himself, and wow he can talk, but not in a bland boring way, he is such a entertaining bloke. He brought us all our drinks, then dinner.. it was a good afternoon, and made Santa Elena less boring.

Today was the day we visited the cloud forrest of Monteverde, we did the walk way tour, which consits of hanging bridges high above the ground, which you walk across and view the trees and clouds.

. it was not that cloudy so we saw quite a bit of ground, no wildlife tho, the bridges are a expericence, but in sense that everyone does it, not in a bloody hell that was fantastic sort of way.. i was kinda let down by it.. was it worth 10,000 colones, i personally dont think so, as it included nothing else, if you wanted to see the hummingbirds then that would cost you another 2,500, but we snuck in to the garden anyway, and i managed to get some quite decent pictures..

We got driven back to our hostel and have started planning for tommorrow, we are gonna spend alot of time on the road, 9hours on buses and boats, but it should be worth the pain, as we are intending on staying at Samara, where we dont know yet, as it seems like most places in Costa Rica pricey, more than the guide books will ever tell you.. We leave here at 6am.. lets hope we get up.. watch this space
