the fabulous irish pub next door to rocking j, wouldnt stop playing bloody Last Christmas by wham

Last night was one of the best nights so far in Costa rica, the day was proper crap, we had non stop rain from morning til late into the afternoon, so no lyin out on a beach gettin a tan!!! We went to Chili Roja for dinner, and got chatting with two Irish ppl, Shivon and Morris, who are backpacking thru central and south america, and like us, are ending up in Peru.. We ended up meeting up with them at Hot rocks, and spent christmas night, gettin merry and drinking non stop...

The dinner at Chili roja was bloody fantastic, and i am not just saying that, it was very nice, the turkey was lush, shame no roasts or yorkshire, but it was great, they had cooked the turkey on a spit!! it was worth the 6quid!!! loads of ppl turned up after us around 6pm, and got turned away, a american group got really arsey with the waitress because they hadnt booked up a table, and made a scene, telling everyone how rude that was, and at christmas too.

My christmas day breakfast... A english bacon sandwhich, minus the tomatoe sauce... it was gorgeous
.. tough luck... we couldnt get in the day before last, so hard cheese, should of gotten there early... So we all met up at Hot rocks, this was like 7ish, and stayed there drinking til 2am...Morris got himself the CD remote and played Queen nonstop... we started off on imperials, then moved onto the jugs of Sangria... Morris was drinking those big litre beers, i really had a great time, and was great talking with both of them, they only got married two months ago, and like us, have no jobs to go back to back home, Shivon was telling me that we missed cheese and onion crisps, and corrie, while it seemed Morris missed the rugby.. they was telling us that it seemed that every american had irish blood, and would greet them like best friends, tho they doubted they had actually any irish blood... i dont think they liked the over commerialism of parts of central america... and they said how they had been drinking in the Irish pub all day because of the rain, tho its technically owned by a spanish woman!!!

Today has been better, the weather finally gave us some sun, so we had Boxing day down on the beach... which was packed with tourists and tico families.. We are going tomorrow, and then off to nicaragua the next day, so only two more days til i can text!!!

well unless i got the whole phone thing wrong...
